A Message from Garry and Donna Hoyt
As of September 1, 2007, Garry and Donna Hoyt (Newport R&D,
Inc.) will no longer be selling Alerion Express sailboats. The builder, Pearson Composites, has made the decision to
go from selling direct to selling through a dealer network.
We are proud to have built the Alerion Express brand for the past 13 years and in the process to have
developed a whole new category of “elegant day sailers.” This has benefited the entire sailing industry,
as is evidenced by the entry of 8 competitors in the last 3 years.
To our many owners/friends, we extend a heartfelt thank you for your business and hope that our paths
will cross again.
